Abstract

Nowadays, business process automation is a priority for many organizations, as it allows for optimizing resource management and improving decision making. Veliced S.A., a company dedicated to the sale of medical supplies, faces challenges in the management of its inventory, specifically in the efficient replenishment of stocks. Currently, it does not have a system that automates the restock process based on reorder points, which generates inefficiencies and possible operational losses. This thesis aims to develop a computer system that allows the automation of inventory restock at Veliced S.A., using the "Reorder Point" model as a basis for establishing optimal replenishment levels. The system will integrate development technologies to offer an adaptable and efficient tool, which not only facilitates inventory management, but also provides a solid foundation for future improvements and possible expansions. The main beneficiaries of this project will be the employees of Veliced S.A., who will be able to optimize their activities related to inventory management, reducing time and effort in manual processes, minimizing human errors, and improving overall operational efficiency. The data generated by the system will allow employees to identify consumption patterns, anticipate future demands, and establish more efficient supply strategies. Ultimately, this project will contribute to creating a more dynamic, organized, and productivity-focused work environment, positively impacting not only the company's internal operations, but also the overall satisfaction of employees and the quality of service provided to customers.
