Abstract: ROSUPESMAR S.A., a company located in Villa Marina, Manta, specializing in the wholesale distribution of seafood products, faces significant challenges in managing its physical inventory. This manual system is prone to recording errors, lack of control over product entries, and discrepancies between records and operational reality, limiting decision-making efficiency. Additionally, the dynamic nature of its commercial environment, influenced by seasonal demand and the perishable nature of its products, makes optimized inventory management essential to meet market needs. This study aims to implement and parameterize the inventory module of Odoo, in its community version (17.0), installed on a Linux server. The research follows the IPEE methodology, which consists of four phases: initiation, planning, execution, and evaluation. These stages include requirements analysis, process improvement, personnel training, and ERP configuration and installation. Additionally, a complementary backup module was developed using Python and Google Drive to ensure data security and operational continuity. As a result, the transition from a physical to a digital inventory system was achieved, enabling the automation of key processes, such as report generation, reduced paper usage, and minimized human errors. Furthermore, a reverse proxy was configured to simplify ERP access for users, optimizing its integration within the company. Finally, a diagram of the resulting architecture was designed, detailing the data flow between client and server, providing a guide for other SMEs interested in adopting low-cost technological solutions for their digital transformation.

Este sistema manual está propenso a errores de registro, falta de control sobre las entradas y discrepancias entre los registros y la realidad operativa, lo que limita la eficiencia en la toma de decisiones. Además, las características dinámicas de su entorno comercial, como la demanda estacional y la naturaleza perecedera de sus productos, hacen que una gestión optimizada sea esencial para satisfacer las necesidades del mercado.
