Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the agronomic response of Mombasa grass (Megathyrsus maximus) under different levels of zinc chelate, with a view to optimizing its performance. The research was carried out at the "Río Suma" Experimental Farm of the Eloy Alfaro de Manabí Lay University, located in El Carmen, Manabí, Ecuador, at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, with an annual rainfall of 2800 mm and an average temperature of 22.5 ° C. For this purpose, a completely randomized block experimental design (CRBD) was used with five treatments and four repetitions, applying different doses of zinc chelate: 0.00, 0.50, 1.00, 1.50 and 2.00 liters per hectare. For data analysis, the InfoStat program was used with the 5% Tuky test where the established variables were analyzed, which are: plant height, leaf length, stem length, leaf width, stem diameter and leaf number. The result was that there was no statistical difference in the established treatments.
