Abstract: This study evaluates the productive behavior of rabbits fed with sugarcane leaves, analyzing five treatments with four repetitions each. The rabbits, two months old at the beginning of the experiment, were observed for a period of 60 days. The variables evaluated include meat production, feed conversion, carcass yield, mortality rate, weight gain, feed consumption and meat protein content. Variables such as weight gain, feed consumption, feed conversion, carcass yield and sensory perception were demonstrated. Treatment 3 was the one that presented the greatest weight gain. In terms of feed conversion, T3 showed the best performance, indicating greater efficiency in the use of feed for weight gain. In terms of carcass performance, T3 also obtained the best results. Finally, in the sensory evaluation, respondents notably preferred the flavor, texture, softness and smell of rabbit meat, where all treatments had good results, which highlights the high quality in both performance and sensory characteristics of the meat.
