Abstract: | The purpose of this experimental work was to evaluate the agronomic response of Tanzania grass (Panicum máximum Cv.) fertilized with different levels of magnesium chelate. The present trial was carried out at the Rio Suma Experimental Farm, belonging to the Eloy Alfaro Laica University of Manabí, extension in the canton of El Carmen, province of Manabí. Plots were established, the treatments corresponded to the doses of magnesium (0,0. 0,5. 1,0. 1,5. and 2.0 L/ha), with four treatments plus a control and four replicates for each treatment, these were evaluated at 20, 25, 30 and 35 days. The variables studied were: plant height, leaf length, leaf diameter, leaf width, leaf number, stem length, giving as results that treatment 5 has highly significant differences (p<0.01) with a dose of 2.0 Lt/ha, being this the best in the variables plant height, leaf length, stem length, leaf width and leaf diameter with a value of: (109,18cm. 86,57 cm. 22,54cm. and 2,42), taking into account that treatment 4 with a dose of 1.5 Lt/ha has highly significant differences (p<0.01) in the variable number of leaves with a value of 5.53 respectively. Concluding that the T4 treatment with doses of (1.5 L/ha-1 of Mg metallosite) was the one that expressed itself best in this research on days 30. |
Description: | El presente trabajo experimental tuvo como propósito evaluar la respuesta agronómica del pasto Tanzania (Panicum máximum Cv.) fertilizado con diferentes niveles de quelato de magnesio. El presente ensayo se desarrolló en la Granja Experimental Rio Suma, perteneciente a la Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, extensión en el cantón El Carmen, provincia de Manabí. Se establecieron parcelas de 2x2 m para cada tratamiento, los tratamientos corresponden a las dosis de Magnesio (0,0. 0,5. 1,0. 1,5 y 2,0 L/ha), con cuatro tratamientos más un testigo y cuatro repeticiones para cada tratamiento, empleando un diseño experimental de bloques completamente al azar (DBCA), estas fueron evaluadas a los 20, 25, 30 y 35 días. |
