Abstract

In this essay, a study has been developed that addresses parental abandonment and how, through sensory and gustatory artistic work, it can kinetically and electrically affect the emotions of the children of Manta in the year 2024. Parental abandonment is a topic that It often goes unnoticed in certain homes in Manta. Studies on childhood tend to focus on child maltreatment and physical or sexual abuse, overlooking parental abandonment, which implies a lack of attention to the needs and rights of children and adolescents by their parents. This abandonment has serious consequences for their emotional, psychological and physical well-being and development. This project proposes a research methodology based on artistic intention, object, scope and impact that is achieved through an artistic work. The focus is on the sense of taste, whose attributes include communication, relationship and empathy, exploring the kinetic and electrical dimensions of the artistic experience. To do this, a survey was conducted among 385 people surveyed electronically using eForms, highlighting as the main result that 44.16% consider that understanding family functioning influences the kinetic-electrical mode and emotional abandonment. The objective of the project, defined by the research question, is to determine how sensory and gustatory artistic work kinetically and electrically affects children's emotions in the face of parental abandonment in Manta in the year 2024.
