Abstract: Digital media play a crucial role in the construction of the image of young people, who are portrayed through narratives that influence how they are perceived socially, these representations, far from being static, are reinterpreted and questioned in a digital environment where they also actively participate. This essay analyzes the social representations of young people through a methodology focused on qualitative analysis, exploring various bibliographic sources to identify media factors, highlighting the presence of stereotypes. The findings reveal that digital platforms perpetuate both negative stigmas and opportunities for greater inclusion, underscoring the need for responsible media practices. It is concluded that it is critical for digital media to promote authentic and balanced representations of young people, recognizing their diversity and figures of change in the social.
