Abstract

This document presents an integrative academic project focused on the development of a web-mobile system with a cloud database for financial management at the San Jacinto Transport Cooperative, located in Santo Domingo. Regarding the topic, several issues were identified, including inefficient handling of financial information, the lack of a unified system for managing income and expenses, difficulties in generating real-time financial reports, a high dependence on manual processes that increase human error, and the lack of remote access for consulting and managing key financial data. To establish the investigative framework, the following research types were applied: bibliographic, field, and applied, along with mixed, deductive, and inductive research methods. To better understand the problem, data collection techniques such as surveys directed at the cooperative's administrators and members and interviews with the finance personnel were employed. Based on the identified needs, the main objective of the web-mobile system is to optimize the cooperative's financial processes by enabling automated recording and monitoring of income and expenses, management of payments and collections, and the generation of clear, accessible financial reports. This involves transitioning from manual processes to a digital environment, providing secure and real-time access to financial information necessary for effective decision-making. The system aims not only to meet the local needs of the San Jacinto Cooperative but also to serve as a model for other transport cooperatives in the region, fostering digital transformation within the sector.
