Sistema informático para gestión de inventario en lavandería “la gotita” del cantón El Carmen.

Abstract

The main objective of this project is to develop a computer system for inventory management in the laundry “La Gotita” in El Carmen, in order to optimize processes. The main problem lies in manual processes, which generates errors in inventory management and delays operations. The population is made up of the owner of the laundry, while the sample includes a group of customers who provided relevant data for the development of the system. For data collection, interviews and surveys were used to identify the business needs and specific requirements for the software. The proposal consists of a web application and a mobile application, designed to automate inventory processes and provide easy and fast access to real-time data. Among the main results, the improvement in inventory record accuracy, the reduction of human errors, the optimization of work time and the simplification of product management are highlighted. With this system proposal, a substantial improvement in operational efficiency and greater employee and customer satisfaction is expected.
