Abstract

This research work covers the development of the e-commerce system for the sales management of the Smart Solutions business located in Patricia Pilar. Because the establishment poorly manages its operational processes and information records regarding inventory management, customer and supplier management. A problem was determined that generates a deficiency in the management of the purchase and sale process of products. To have a better vision of the problem found, the survey technique was applied to customers and an interview with the business administrators. This allowed to identify and determine low points regarding the needs for automation and digitalization of their manual processes. Therefore, this served to recognize the functional requirements necessary to carry out the development and implementation of e-commerce. On the other hand, the research framework was based on the use of documentary, applied and field research methods. As well as the use of the inductive and deductive research method. To carry out the development of the e-commerce system, the agile development methodology called XP was used, this is characterized by rapid progress in the development of software given its short development cycle. The result was a comparison between traditional and digital product control and sales management of the business.
