Abstract: | The competencies of the graduate profile in relation to the degree modalities are essential, as they strengthen learning and develop useful professional skills throughout the career. The research addressed the lack of information on how these modalities influence these competencies in graduates of the technical area of the ULEAM Chone Extension. The objective was to determine the index of the competencies of the graduate profile in relation to the degree modalities through the documentary review of the degree works of the graduates of the Information Technologies career of the ULEAM Extension Chone.La methodology uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research, inductive-deductive, bibliographic and statistical methods, and as an instrument a record sheet to analyze the work carried out in the last five years. The degree modalities (research, integrative and complex exam) and their link with the competencies of the graduate profile were classified. The results reviewed the evolution of the forms of titling, highlighting the transition from traditional methods to adaptive alternatives such as complex projects and evaluations. Three main modalities were classified: Research Project (60%), Integrative Project (40%) and Complex Exam (0%). In addition, 15 key competencies of the graduate profile were highlighted, with the most represented being knowledge validation (P6 and P15) and project planning (P4), while areas such as bibliographic search (P8) and systems administration (P11) were less represented. La investigación abordó la falta de información sobre cómo estas modalidades influyen en dichas competencias en los graduados del área técnica de la ULEAM Extensión Chone. El objetivo fue determinar el índice de las competencias del perfil de egreso en relación con las modalidades de titulación mediante la revisión documental de los trabajos de titulación de los graduados de la carrera de Tecnologías de la Información de la ULEAM Extensión Chone. |
