Sistema de video vigilancia para la seguridad en el sector Guabalito.

Abstract

The purpose of this degree work was to implement a video surveillance system to improve security in the Guabalito sector. The problems of the inhabitants of the sector were studied, who face a growing incidence of criminal acts and episodes of violence that negatively affect them. The methodology used in the research was qualitative-quantitative, using bibliographic, field and applied research types, as well as analytical-synthetic and inductive- deductive methods. The sample consisted of 24 people from the sector, and the techniques and instruments used were the survey directed at 23 people and the interview with the representative of the sector. The results confirmed that insecurity in the sector is quite high. This research proposes to reduce criminal acts by monitoring the video surveillance system, being prepared and anticipated to be able to respond effectively to these situations. In summary, this project proposes innovative solutions to the sector, preparing it to face certain undesirable events. The implementation of this video surveillance system seeks to be an effective tool to improve the security and quality of life of the inhabitants of the Guabalito sector.
