Abstract

The purpose of this degree work was to develop a "Web application for inventory control of the agricultural company "A.V.AGRO." in the canton of El Carmen" addresses the development and implementation of a technological tool designed to optimize inventory management in a company agriculture. This project arises from the need to improve precision, efficiency and control in the management of agricultural and livestock products. The main objective was to create a web application that would allow "A.V.AGRO." Keep a detailed and updated record of your products, facilitating decision making and reducing losses due to lack of inventory control. Specific objectives included requirements analysis, system design, software development, implementation and staff training. The waterfall methodology was used for software development, allowing a sequential and structured approach. The project began with a detailed analysis of the company's requirements, followed by the design of the system architecture. The technologies used include programming languages such as JavaScript and PHP, MySQL databases, etc. The implementation of the web application resulted in a significant improvement in inventory control because a reduction in losses due to errors in product registration was achieved, faster generation of reports and better organization of data. The project demonstrated the importance of technology in inventory management in agricultural companies. It is recommended to continue updating and improving the system, as well as exploring more comprehensive integration with other technological tools.
