Abstract: | Most companies at a national and international level are dedicated to the production and sale of their products through electronic platforms. Nowadays, technology is used a lot, several companies take advantage of these electronic services for economic growth and thus make your products known through advertising. This research work aims to develop a mobile application for sales management in the D'Pin liquor store in Cantón El Carmen, because it was identified that its manual processes are not as efficient in the sale of its products, in addition analyzed the need to apply existing technologies in the market to be competitive, to carry out this study a bibliographic research was applied to describe the variables and field to know the situation of the company applying survey and interview techniques to the people involved in this company, which were 140 regular customers and 2 owners, where the need to develop a mobile application was determined. With this information obtained, it was possible to develop a mobile application that allows managing the sales of its products from wherever the client is and being more efficient in the delivery of the products offered. The waterfall methodology was adopted in the development of the mobile application for the D'pin liquor store in order to guarantee a rigorous and sequential structure in the creation process. This approach allowed the project to be divided into eight different phases, starting with the description of the proposal and analysis of requirements, where the objectives and key functionalities of the application were established and were reflected in the UML Diagrams phase. Subsequently, we proceeded to the design phase, in which visual prototypes were created and the architecture of the solution was defined, as well as a database design. Then, implementation and coding were carried out, where the mobile application was developed based on the previously established designs and specifications. And finally, in the installation and testing phase, it allowed errors to be identified and corrected, guaranteeing that the application met the defined requirements. Finally, implementation and maintenance ensured the successful launch of the application and its subsequent monitoring. Throughout the project, the waterfall methodology facilitated effective communication with the client and detailed monitoring of progress. This sequential and structured approach allowed us to deliver a high-quality mobile application, which in tests with selected employees and clients, satisfied the needs of end users. |
