Abstract

The following integration project was titled: 'Computer system for the administrative management of the peasant social security for the parish of San Pedro de Suma'. This study addressed the current problems that the entity was facing in its administrative management. These deficiencies were due to the lack of detailed reports in audits, inaccurate payments from members and poor communication with the insurance partners. The main objective was to develop a web and mobile system for the administrative management of the Peasant Social Security of the parish of San Pedro de Suma. This system was focused on both the administrator and the members of the peasant social security. The web application was aimed at the administrator of the entity, who managed the processes in a clear and concise manner, while the mobile app was aimed at the affiliates of the entity so that they could stay informed of the administrative processes. The study was carried out using a mixed methodology, which included qualitative and quantitative research. This allowed acquiring valuable information through data collection with instruments designed according to each type of research. The general population consisted of 447 members, from which a probabilistic sample of 208 respondents was identified, who were very useful in this study. Among the results presented, it was possible to identify that, with the help of the computer system, the processes were streamlined and the performance of the Rural Social Security was optimized. This demonstrated once again that technology is currently a very useful tool to resolve any situation.
