Abstract: The project addresses the problem of connectivity and security in the network of the Educational Institution "Lic. Carlos Vélez Verduga", highlighting both the technical challenges and the experiences of the users. Among the main problems identified are weak signal, frequent network outages, difficult to remember passwords and slow page loading. To solve these problems, Ubiquiti UAP AC M antennas were implemented, which improved authentication with WPA3 and RADIUS-based systems, optimized user management with UniFi Controller software, and strengthened password security. Additionally, measures were taken to ensure automatic firmware updates, which also improved network stability and speed. These improvements resulted in a more secure network, with a stronger signal and a better user experience for students and staff, ensuring that the institution's technological infrastructure is aligned with its educational and operational needs.
Description: El proyecto aborda la problemática de conectividad y seguridad en la red de la Institución Educativa "Lic. Carlos Vélez Verduga", destacando tanto los desafíos técnicos como las experiencias de los usuarios. Entre los principales problemas identificados se encuentran la señal débil, caídas frecuentes de la red, contraseñas difíciles de recordar y la lentitud al cargar páginas.
