Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the implementation of a didactic module for teaching communication protocols of two variable speed drives in the Higher Technology in Electromechanics (TSE) degree at ULEAM, El Carmen Extension. This project was developed with the objective of improving the theoretical and practical knowledge of students, preparing them to face the challenges of the current industrial sector. Technological evolution in electromechanical engineering has improved the control of asynchronous motors through variable speed drives. ULEAM, El Carmen Extension, proposes a didactic module in the TSE degree to teach communication protocols of these drives, combining theory and practice with real equipment, preparing students for the labor market. Currently, the teaching of communication protocols in variable speed drives presents significant limitations, with a lack of adequate teaching resources and little integration of real practices, this generates dissatisfaction among students and teachers and creates a gap between the theory taught and its practical application. How can the implementation of a specific didactic module for teaching communication protocols of two variable speed drives improve the theoretical and practical knowledge of students, allowing them to acquire the necessary skills to face the challenges of the current industrial sector? the implementation This module will enrich the TSE curriculum, providing complete and practical training that allows students to understand and apply theoretical concepts efficiently. Variable speed drives and their communication protocols are essential in industrial automation. This module will enable students to become familiar with advanced technologies and practices in modern industry. The project is aligned with ULEAM's objectives of promoting applied research and links with the productive sector, strengthening the academic offer and contributing to technological development in the region. This project has achieved all its specific objectives, providing a valuable educational tool that enriches the training of students and strengthens the relationship between academia and industry. |
