Abstract: | This project addresses the need to improve academic practices in the Higher Technology in Electromechanics (TSE) career at the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí (ULEAM), El Carmen extension, through the construction and evaluation of mechanical supports using 3D printing technology. The general objective was to design, manufacture and evaluate the resistance and functionality of these supports in the practical activities of the race. The methodology used included the CAD design of the supports, their manufacturing with 3D printing and resistance tests under conditions of academic use. The results demonstrated that the supports meet the technical and functional requirements, improving the precision and effectiveness of student practices. The conclusions highlight the efficiency of 3D printing as a production method in the educational context, optimizing costs and promoting practical learning. The implementation of this proposal strengthens the academic and practical training of TSE students, contributing to their professional preparation. |
