Abstract: | The present research aims to analyze the strategies that contribute to a good work environment and their impact on the productivity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the Chone canton. It is based on the premise that a positive work environment not only improves employee satisfaction and well-being, but also translates into a significant increase in organizational productivity. The research is based on a quantitative-qualitative methodology, using surveys and interviews directed to employees and owners of MSMEs which focused on 47 businesses. The results show that factors such as effective communication, recognition of effort, continuous training and participative leadership are key to generating a healthy work environment. Likewise, it was identified that companies with clear strategies to promote staff well-being experience higher levels of motivation, commitment and, consequently, an increase in their productivity. |
