Cuidados de enfermería en pacientes con hemorragia postparto.

Abstract

Postpartum hemorrhage remains one of the leading causes of maternal mortality worldwide, especially in developing countries such as Ecuador. The objective was to analyze the Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Postpartum Hemorrhage to improve patients' quality of life. The method was a qualitative approach with a descriptive scope and non-experimental design, with the Prisma Protocol being the basis of the systematic review in databases mainly in Doaj, repository, Elsevier, Dailnet, Latindex, OAJI (open academic Journalsn), Latindex, Scopus and Scielo. The result allowed to characterize the current situation of postpartum hemorrhage and its intervention in nursing, as well as its Clinical methods applied in each documentary review. Among the conclusion aspects: The analysis of the Practice Guide shows that nursing care is essential in the prevention and timely management of postpartum hemorrhage. Rapid intervention, constant surveillance and emotional support are key to improving maternal prognosis. Evidence-based practice and continuing education strengthen comprehensive and safe care. As well as these results will serve for future research.
