Abstract

The objective of this research project is to learn about the judicial protection and prevention systems in children and adolescents who have been involved in cyberbullying situations on social networks in the city of Manta from August 2020 to August 2021. The researcher focuses directly on minors since, being a vulnerable group, they have suffered from these types of situations in the environment that surrounds them, and the problem arises from indecent acts or proposals that are caused by the perpetrators towards their victims. since for many years the advancement of technology has continually created technological artifacts and with this social networks have also advanced by leaps and bounds, these networks in which the vast majority of users are minors such as boys, girls and adolescents who are susceptible to being possible victims, causes such as parents' lack of care in reviewing or controlling the social networks that their children use daily at home, is one of the main factors why this social problem occurs. The methods and techniques used in this research work are the descriptive method, empirical method, and inductive method for research development. The investigation will provide specific protocols for the protection mechanisms that State institutions provide to guarantee proper care for minors.
