Buenas prácticas para la gestión turística integrada e inteligente del Museo Municipal Etnográfico Cancebí.

Abstract

Museums contribute to cultural tourism, demanding continuous innovation in their services, accessibility, infrastructures and organization of activities. They require proper management to ensure good administration in the effective development of actions and operations, always accompanied by new technologies. This work aims to design good practices for an integrated and intelligent management of the Cancebí Municipal Ethnographic Museum that benefits all those involved, managers and visitors. The research is carried out by implementing a mixed type methodology, having a descriptive scope from the bibliographic review. The final product is the proposal of good practices for museum tourism management, which is based on a diagnosis through scientific observation, exploratory interview, workshops - SWOT, design of organization charts and flow diagrams, application of a checklist with indicators, comparison, analysis and synthesis, deficiencies and proposals are identified for the improvement of the management in the entity. The responsibilities in each of the processes that are carried out are previously determined. It was found that the implementation of online services is necessary to interact with visitors and be able to take virtual tours. Also, it requires staff training and the development of actions for the preservation of the collections and the provision of the service with an integrated and intelligent management approach, essentially in the processes related to administration, elaboration of scripts according to visitor segments and museum archives.
