Plan de reactivación de establecimientos de hospedajes en la parroquia Tarqui.

Abstract

The objective of the work presented below was to propose a reactivation plan to improve the flow of clients in lodging establishments in the Tarqui parish, Manta canton, Manabí province. For this, the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected these establishments was expected as a starting point, as it happened on a national and international scale. The research was descriptive field type; For the development of the same, the technique of the structured survey was used, which was carried out on the manager or administrator of each of the companies that in the Tarqui parish are dedicated to hospitality. As part of the results, it was found that the aforementioned pandemic had a significant impact on the flow of guests, since from the beginning there was a noticeable decrease in the number of occupied rooms compared to the times prior to COVID-19. The findings also report the availability and disposition of the owners of the aforementioned lodging companies to contribute to the reactivation of the sector. It is concluded that the reactivation proposal described above is pertinent.
