Reactivación turística en la playa Urbana de San Mateo del Cantón Manta como consecuencia de la pandemia del Covid-19.

Abstract

The present research work entitled "Tourist reactivation in the urban beach of San Mateo of the Manta Canton as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic" is intended to determine this tourist strategy as a solution to the main problem of this research. The strategies are the main fundamental part of the entire tourist reactivation, which constitute the San Mateo urban beach, which has been considered to be applied within urban tourism. This beach is named after its own community, San Mateo enjoys a pleasant warm climate and belongs to the tropical forest life zone. This means that on the beach you can see coconut trees and offer the tourist a unique combination of sand, sea and green flora. On the beach of San Mateo you can practice different sports such as fishing, swimming, surfing, hiking and others. Also on the coast, regional food and seafood stalls are installed that last throughout the holiday season. The objective of this research project is to recommend the rigorous implementation of strategies on biosafety protocols and vaccines to strengthen the tourist reactivation in the urban beach of San Mateo in the Manta canton, which allows economic improvement in the tourism sector of this community. From the methodological point of view, a work was approached with the documentary and descriptive field modalities. The results determined that the biosecurity protocols in San Mateo beach are below the awareness of the inhabitants of the same City of Manta. These aspects must be considered, in order to reduce infections by Covid - 19.
