Abstract: The present research aim is to analyze what are the factors that influence the low level of sales in the clothing merchants of the Nuevo Tarqui shopping plaza in the city of Manta, in addition, this research has a general objective; to analyze the factors that have affected the low level of sales in the clothing merchants of the Nuevo Tarqui in the city of Manta. This research was developed under a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach, not experimental, and bibliographic reviews. To achieve the objectives of this research, the relationship between the variables was analyzed; Independent Variable: Study of the factors and Dependent Variable: Low level of sales. As a research instrument, a structured survey model was utilized with a comparative Likert scale, disseminated through social networks to a sample of 382 people. The data obtained, punctuated, and using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, were calculated, and the treatment and statistical analysis were carried out with a reliability of 0.738. Finally, it was concluded that the objective had been achieved and as evidence, the favorable results were obtained through the surveys applied to the clients of this commercial area.
