Factores de riesgo y complicaciones más frecuentes en pacientes con infección por SARS-COV-2.

Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 is the pathogen that causes a highly contagious and life-threatening disease called COVID-19. This virus spread rapidly to more than 200 countries around the world due to its mainly respiratory transmission, which is why it was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020, causing the population a without number of complications, thus increasing the mortality rate in these patients. This article consists of describing the most frequent risk factors and complications in patients with SARS-COV-2 infection, to achieve the previously stated objective, a systematic review will be carried out using search engines such as PubMed. The reviewed material is published in online journals such as Elsevier, Jama, SciELO, Science Direct and other documents compiled from the Ecuadorian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.
