Abstract: | COVID-19 in pregnant women has been a challenge in maternal care because it can increase the risk of certain obstetric conditions and negative perinatal outcomes. Therefore, the general objective was to identify, through a systematic review, the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in pregnant women and the treatments used for their recovery. The methodology applied for data collection was based on the Scoping Review technique from a bibliographic search in the PubMed/Medline, Virtual Health Library, SciELO, Cochrane and CUIDEN databases. For the search, the MeSH terms were used: “COVID-19”, “Pregnancy”, “Delivery, Obstetric”, “Pregnant Women” and “Maternal”. The search equations used were “COVID-19 AND Pregnancy”, “COVID-19 AND Pregnant”, “COVID-19 AND Childbirth, Obstetrics”. The results obtained were that the treatments in pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2 were found to be the use of drugs such as Chloroquine phosphate, Hydroxychloroquine, Tocilizumab, Remdesivir, Azithromycin and Lopinavir / Ritonavir. Finally, it is recommended that all pregnant women with or without symptoms of COVID-19 be managed according to standards of care and infection prevention. |
