Abstract

Reactive arthritis is a pathology that is difficult to diagnose at the beginning, because it does not have an apparent common cause that describes it, in addition to the fact that there are not many cases in Ecuador, complicating the study of the same, however with the follow-up of the case and by ruling out pathologies, it can be diagnosed and treated with good criteria. It has a low incidence worldwide, but it is prevalent in young patients, both in men and women. This case study details the patient's condition from the moment he is admitted to this health unit (Hospital General IESS Santo Domingo, its evolution and the different complications presented by the simile, It starts with several medications and respective antibiotic schemes based on the protocols established by the Ministry of Public Health and international standards traumatological, with very good resolution.
