El alcoholismo y las afectaciones psicosociales en familias del barrio los Tamarindos del Cantón Jaramijó, años 2020-2021.

Abstract

The topic of this research was called alcoholism and psychosocial affectations in families of the Tamarindos neighborhood of the Jaramijó Canton, years 2020-2021, which aimed to know the causes and psychosocial repercussions that have generated this social phenomenon in the family nucleus of the aforementioned neighborhood. The problem of this study is based on the concern generated by alcohol addictions for current generations, but also for future generations, especially since in most cases the acquisition of these patterns of behavior is maintained in future generations. The methodology implemented in this academic work was qualitative because data were collected related to the perceptions of the key informants who were ten families with children in a situation of excessive alcohol consumption and the president of the Tamarindos neighborhood of the Jaramijó Canton to whom the interview technique was applied in order to obtain relevant information, the same that was systematized and triangulated through the descriptive and analytical-synthetic method. The results obtained were based on the analysis of the importance of family norms and limits so that they are a cause of this terrible addiction and generate repercussions such as anxiety and depression in the family nucleus. The conclusions were based on the fact that the perception of the family is favorable in the economic and emotional support in the treatment of their children in addiction, but also in the importance of the preventive actions that must be implemented by the Tamarindos neighborhood of the Jaramijó Canton around the consumption of alcohol in its inhabitants.
