Abstract

This research work is about the problem of intrafamily child sexual abuse. It addresses the relevance of factors that affect the family environment of the aggressor, the aggressor, causes and consequences, which is the family, family roles, the role of the social worker. Emphasis is placed when it is carried out by a family member, therefore, reference is made to intrafamily sexual abuse. Different definitions of intrafamily child sexual abuse and its traumas are exposed, to make an introduction to the main concepts of the problem, a bibliographic search of authors who theorize about abuse and the roles of non-abusive relatives is also carried out. Thus, the realization of this research work is based on the problem called family catastrophe that degrades the family structure as a whole, leaving the family in a situation of total rupture and devastation, articulating the intervention of the social worker from the interdisciplinary field with the development of intervention mechanisms and the role to play after it has occurred.
