Estrategias de empoderamiento y desarrollo de capacidades en los habitantes de la parroquia Santa Marianita, años 2024-2025.

Abstract

The parish of Santa Marianita, located in the Manta canton, requires a comprehensive strategy for the empowerment and development of its residents. The main objective is to investigate ways to enhance local capacities and improve the community's quality of life. From this starting point, a quantitative methodology was used, with descriptive and explanatory approaches. The technique used was a survey of 100 community residents, a questionnaire as the instrument, and the Forms application as the database. Citizen participation is essential to the success of the strategy, so community development that involves residents in the planning and execution of projects is proposed, since the results obtained reflect low community participation, little confidence in local management and limited dissemination of training opportunities, which hinders community development, consequently this diagnosis allows to identify weaknesses and potentialities that must be addressed through more inclusive, sustainable and adjusted strategies to local reality, since these strategies must be carried out based on the particularities of each community or sector, with this research seeks to generate a contribution that guides authorities, social organizations and community leaders in decision-making and in the design of interventions that strengthen citizen empowerment, improve the quality of life and promote social cohesion, the creation of a community development committee is proposed, involving residents in the planning and execution of the project.
