El embarazo en adolescentes y su influencia en el desarrollo personal en las mujeres del barrio Nueva Esperanza del cantón Manta, años 2024-2025.

Abstract

This research is titled: "Teenage Pregnancy and Its Influence on the Personal Development of Women in the Nueva Esperanza Neighborhood, Manta Canton, 2024-2025." The main objective was to understand how early pregnancy affects the personal lives of adolescents, taking into account their emotions, experiences, and the support they receive from their communities. This problem is common in many communities, where adolescents face this stage without the necessary guidance or support, with physical changes, emotional difficulties, difficulties in their studies, and difficulties in their outlook on the future. In many cases, these young women drop out of school, feel rejected or abandoned, and have to take on responsibilities for which they are not yet prepared. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, conducting interviews with pregnant adolescents and mothers to gain insight into different perspectives on this situation. The results show that teenage pregnancy greatly influences personal development, limiting opportunities, changing plans, and affecting their emotional stability.
