La violencia social y su repercusión en las relaciones intrafamiliares en el barrio Santa Clara del cantón Manta, años 2024-2025.

Abstract

This research analyzes how social violence has gained relevance in recent years due to the increase in violent and conflictive situations around the world, leaving behind painful repercussions and consequences for millions of families. The objective was to investigate social violence and its impact on intrafamily relationships in the Santa Clara neighborhood of the Manta Canton, year 2024-2025. The research has a quantitative approach using the deductive and analytical-synthetic method. Participant observation was applied as a technique, managing to identify behaviors and attitudes of the residents of this sector, understanding the social and community context in a natural way. On the other hand, a survey was applied as a data collection technique with a questionnaire of 14 structured questions to 108 inhabitants of the Santa Clara neighborhood. The results show that social violence is influenced by economic, social, and cultural factors, directly affecting family dynamics and relationships among its members. It is concluded that many families in this community experience constant tensions derived from insecurity, considering that the factors influencing this problem are mainly poverty and lack of job opportunities, resulting in constant fear, tensions, deprivations, emotional effects, distrust, insecurity. In extreme situations, social violence has resulted in the loss of human lives among many inhabitants of Santa Clara, leaving emotional and profound consequences in the affected families.
