Abstract: Antoine de Saint-Exupery was characterized by his humanist writing style. The Little Prince, one of his most relevant works, emphasizes social criticism of the adult world, immersed in class divisions. This research seeks to explore the hidden meanings and symbolism present in his work, the narrative structure, and the social problems immersed in his characters. Furthermore, it highlights the social struggle reflected in the work of The Little Prince and the profound questions about the classifications of power, corruption, inequality, dehumanization, and lack of emotional and ethical responsibility. The objective of this study was to analyze the work of The Little Prince, its social context, and identify the causes of social struggles in relation to education and current values. A qualitative methodology was used, which allowed us to examine how participants perceive and experience the problems or phenomena that surround them. In addition, the research included methods such as phenomenological and bibliographical. The audience consisted of three teachers and four students from the Eloy Alfaro Laica University in Manabí. Information was collected through interviews with teachers and a focus group of students. The results, findings, and discussion revealed that The Little Prince, far from being solely a children's work, is structured as a profoundly formative literary tool, capable of opening spaces for critical reflection on the social, ethical, and human problems facing today's society.
