Abstract: This investigative case is oriented towards the hotels in the city of Manta, with the aim of carrying out a diagnosis of their digital capacity and knowledge, identifying weaknesses and opportunities, and proposing strategies that are viable for visibility, positioning, and competitiveness with other destinations in the digital environment. Based on the results obtained through a questionnaire and subsequent analysis, it was found that these tourism companies possess solid knowledge of digital tools, such as social media and visual content, yet they still lack technical digital training, strategic planning, and proper use of digital platforms.
Description: Este caso investigativo está orientado hacia los hoteles de la ciudad de Manta, con el fin de realizar un diagnóstico de su capacidad y conocimiento digital, identificando debilidades, y oportunidades, proponiendo estrategias que resulten viables para la visibilidad, el posicionamiento y la competitividad con otros destinos respecto al entorno digital.
