Abstract: Writing and storytelling are fundamental pillars of the educational process, as they are essential skills for personal and academic development. However, a gap in the development of storytelling and writing skills is observed. This problem is evident in higher grades, such as high school, where these skills are expected to be utilized without difficulty. Given this problem, there is a need to analyze the functioning of the StoryJumper digital tool for writing real and fictional narratives among first-year high school students at the Lev Vigotsky Private Educational Unit. A mixed methodology is used, with a deductive approach with descriptive, analytical, and exploratory levels, to gather information, involving students through interviews and surveys to observe their level of knowledge. The results showed a gap in the creation of real and fictional narratives. In conclusion, the StoryJumper digital tool proved to be an engaging, dynamic, and motivating teaching aid and method for writing during classes or outside of school, emphasizing the enhancement of education through ICT in educational learning.
Description: La escritura y la narración son un eje fundamental durante el proceso educativo, dado que son competencias esenciales para el desarrollo personal y académico, sin embargo, se logra observar falencias en el desarrollo de narraciones y escritura. Esta problemática es visible en grados superiores, como lo es en bachillerato, donde se espera que estas destrezas sean utilizadas sin problema.
