Abstract: This research, entitled "Critical Pedagogy for the Development of Interpretation and Dialogue Skills," was developed at the Jocay de Manta Private Educational Unit. The objective was to analyze critical pedagogy for the development of interpretation and dialogue skills through brainstorming among first-year high school students at Jocay de Manta School, from the 2024-2025 period. The research arose from the need to transcend conventional teaching methods focused on memorization and instead propose a transformative, participatory, thoughtful, and reflective education that combined qualitative and quantitative techniques, such as interviews, surveys, and focus groups. Brainstorming, also known as brainstorming, was used as a strategy to foster two-way communication, mutual respect, and active listening between teachers and students. The results revealed that, thanks to this strategy, students improved their interpretation and oral expression skills, and a collaborative and participatory environment was created in the classroom. It was concluded that critical pedagogy is a useful tool for promoting a more student-centered, inclusive, and, above all, humanistic education.
Description: La presente investigación titulada “La pedagogía crítica para el desarrollo de habilidades de interpretación y diálogo” se desarrolló en la Unidad Educativa Particular “Jocay de Manta” con el objetivo de Analizar la pedagogía crítica para el desarrollo de las habilidades de interpretación y diálogo a través del brainstorming en estudiantes del Primero de Bachillerato del colegio “Jocay de Manta” del periodo 2024-2025.
