Análisis comparativo de la obra Panchito Taura del autor Jaime Cedeño con la realidad social actual.

Abstract

This research critically questions the permanence of social problems and structures. It uses Jaime Cedeño's work Panchito Taura (2010) as a point of comparison, contrasting it with contemporary reality. Despite the passage of more than half a century, high levels of structural inequality, poverty, institutional neglect, and violence are still evident, reflecting a worrying persistence of degrading conditions. The research analyzes how these historical problems are not only in our memories but also persist and, in some cases, have worsened or transformed into new forms of exclusion. The general objective is to compare Panchito Taura's narrative and current social reality, in order to reveal repetitive patterns of injustice, invisibility, and abandonment. Through specific objectives, collective problems and current social conditions in the country are studied. This exercise allows us to identify similarities and differences between the situations depicted in the literary work and the current social context. Methodologically, a qualitative hermeneutic approach is adopted, based on comparative literary analysis.
