Abstract: | This case study is titled "Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Business Knowledge Management in the Human Talent Department, with a Special Focus on the Sales Area of MardeHielo S.A., a company in the Jaramijó Canton." The research is based on a problem identified in the organization: the lack of implementation of artificial intelligence tools, which limits effective knowledge management and reduces the sales area's ability to make agile, personalized, and strategic decisions. In this context, the main objective is to implement Microsoft Copilot as a tool for business knowledge management in the area, enabling process optimization, reducing the loss of key information, and improving performance. Through the analysis of internal information, interviews, surveys, and document reviews, weaknesses in the collection, storage, and use of knowledge within the Department were diagnosed. The results show that Artificial Intelligence tools can facilitate the automation of repetitive tasks, the identification of commercial behavior patterns, and the strengthening of data-driven decision-making. In conclusion, it was determined that the integration of an artificial intelligence tool not only improves operational efficiency but also transforms tacit knowledge into a competitive advantage, generating a continuous learning environment within the sales department. The final proposal includes training, tool selection, and impact assessment phases tailored to the specific needs of MardeHielo S.A. |
