Resumen : | Organizational culture and innovation capacity are important for the socioeconomic development of any company, given the close relationship between the two. The objective of this study is to determine the link between organizational culture and companies' ability to generate and sustain technological innovation. It analyzes the cultural flexibility and openness to change that favors innovation, establishes employees' perceptions of the relationship between culture and innovation, and examines the influence of culture on the adoption of new technologies and the generation of innovative ideas. The methodology used combines descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative research, complemented by a bibliographic and documentary approach. A sample of 45 employees from the human talent department was selected, who were surveyed and interviewed with the company's general manager. The data were analyzed through tabulation and triangulation of information, with the aim of obtaining a robust interpretation of the findings. The results obtained reveal that the link between organizational culture and technological innovation is limited. The hierarchical and centralized structure of companies limits flexibility and communication, hinders staff participation and collective innovation. It is concluded that companies must clearly define their organizational culture so that any technological change brings real benefits. Therefore, defining and strengthening organizational culture is key to fostering an environment that fosters technological innovation capacity. |
