Evaluación de metodologías ágiles para la gestión de información de proyectos sociales en el departamento Gerencial del Banco Guayaquil de Manta, 2024.

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of agile methodologies in the information management of social projects created in the Management department of Banco Guayaquil in Manta, therefore, it is proposed to evaluate tools such as Scrum and Kanban and their function within the projects, valuing their use as mechanisms to improve the management of information that is generated. Under the context of the social projects that are managed within the Bank, this study seeks to analyze the impact of agile methodologies in the information management of these projects, determining their effectiveness and opportunities for improvement, through qualitative research based on interviews, and applying a bibliographic reinforcement, the effectiveness of these methodologies to manage information is explored. Likewise, the benefits provided by methodologies in information management are identified, reducing risks and strengthening business commitment, in context with the above, the bank is an environment that is characterized by constant changes and growing social demands, for this reason, efficient information management must become a key factor for the success of social initiatives. The results show that the implementation of agile methodologies in Banco Guayaquil has improved efficiency in project information management, strengthening teamwork and user satisfaction; that is, under the use of the Scrum methodology, applied through Sprints and digital boards, its effectiveness in optimizing the use of information has been demonstrated.
