Abstract

This entrepreneurial project primarily seeks to create a feasible business plan for the microenterprise "Dulce Vida," which produces and sells healthy, artisanal sweets sweetened with Stevia, specifically targeting people with diabetes or those seeking healthier food options. This idea emerges as a solution to a growing problem in the city of Manta: the increase in chronic non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes, and the shortage of desserts that meet the dietary needs of this population group. The proposal is based on a market study that shows a high unmet demand for products without refined sugar. Through surveys conducted among people between 25 and 70 years of age, it was found that more than 80% of respondents are willing to consume products sweetened with Stevia, which represents a clear business opportunity.
