La gastronomía ancestral y su influencia en el turismo cultural del cantón 24 de mayo, provincia de Manabí.

Abstract

The research proyect corresponds to the analysis of ancestral gastronomy and its influence on cultural tourism in the 24 de Mayo canton, for which an information survey was carried out to find out the causes of the subject in question. For this, its methodological structure used is of a nonexperimental type, with an exploratory scope, the methods used are analytical and synthetic, likewise it was necessary to apply techniques such as the survey directed to tourists, the interviews destined to the tourist department, in addition to a young, older adult belonging to the canton, in observation a check list is made of everything analyzed in the visit to the canton, as instruments the file and questionnaire and the sample is of a non-probabilistic type. In accordance with the information collected, it is concluded that the causes are the lack of recognition of the origin, history and meaning of each ancestral food dish belonging to the 24 de Mayo canton.
