Abstract

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of four levels of threonine on weight gain during the production of Cobb 500 chickens, where the poultry house that exists in the margay experimental farm was used, and 125 poultry were used. of the aforementioned species. In the investigation several methods were used such as: Induction - deduction, Description and Empirical; where we worked with the amino acid threonine that allowed us to study the research variables. The results show the amount of food consumption in grams, the first week it can be seen that three treatments had variations in the treatments (T1 (0.5%), T3 (0.7%), T5 (0%)); while in the weight gain of poultry the treatment with the best results was T2 (0.6%) with an average of 219.33. And finally it is evident that there was a very low mortality rate of a specimen in the first week and in the fifth week. From the above, it is proposed to apply amino acids (threonine) in the diet for the good development of Cobb 500 chickens.
