Abstract: The main objective of this study is to raise awareness among teachers to apply virtual environments in the process of teaching-learning physics in students of the Unidad Educative Circumcisional "Cinco de Mayo" of the canton Chone, and the development of the use of a virtual learning environment in education that would play an important role today because it allows the orientation to the achievement of the expected learning which the student must continue to build his own knowledge, facilitating the understanding of physical phenomena and making him interested in the processes of physics thus strengthening his intellect. The research work has a qualitative-quantitative approach with a non-experimental design is correlational and bibliographic. The instruments used were the survey, interview, and an observation sheet for both variables. The population consists of eighty-eight third-year high school students and the sample consisted of seventy-eight third-year high school students from the parallel’s "A" and "B" of the Unidad Educative Circumcisional "Cinco de Mayo" of the canton Chone. The results obtained through the applied instruments indicate that it is important that the teacher changes his study methodology and applies virtual environments in the teaching-learning of physics, in this way he will cause significant learning in students. Inconclusion, currently virtual environments are one of the fundamental pillars and the route to reach students with knowledge, which is why the teacher must know and be constantly prepared regarding the use of virtual environments.
Description: El objetivo principal del presente estudio es concientizar a los docentes para que apliquen entornos virtuales en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la física en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional “Cinco de Mayo” del cantón Chone, y el desarrollo de la utilización de un ambiente de aprendizaje virtual en la educación jugaría un papel importante en la actualidad porque permite la orientación al logro de los aprendizajes esperados, los cuales el alumno debe de continuar para construir su propio conocimiento, facilitando la comprensión de los fenómenos físicos y haciendo que este se interese en los procesos de la física fortaleciendo de esa manera su intelecto.
