Abstract: | This research project addresses the "Impact of social networks on the tourism promotion of hotel companies in the canton of Portoviejo in the year 2022". A general ignorance is identified among hotel companies about the proper use of social networks for tourism promotion, due to the lack of advice from the owners, as well as economic factors. This project aims to contribute to the tourism development of the canton of Portoviejo and the community in general, overcoming the barriers that limit the growth of hotel companies in their tourism promotion through social networks. The methods and techniques used, such as the analytical, deductive method, survey techniques, interviews and observation are essential to obtain significant results. It is evident that some companies lack knowledge about an effective promotion in networks, while other companies know the advantages of promoting themselves in social networks, but they need an adequate strategy to take advantage of their full potential. Based on the results obtained, an "Advisory Plan for the owners and administrators of hotels in Portoviejo is proposed in order to improve the tourism promotion of their hotel companies through social networks." to train the owners and workers of hotel companies. The plan seeks to maximize the participation and visibility of companies in social networks, thus improving their positioning in the market and attracting a greater flow of tourists. It is expected that this study will be useful to improve the current parameters and promote the tourism potential of the region. |
Description: | El presente proyecto de investigación aborda el "Impacto de las redes sociales en la promoción turística de las empresas hoteleras en el cantón de Portoviejo en el año 2022". Se identifica un desconocimiento generalizado entre las empresas hoteleras sobre el uso adecuado de las redes sociales para la promoción turística, debido a la falta de asesoramiento por parte de los propietarios, así como de factores económicos. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo contribuir al desarrollo turístico del cantón de Portoviejo y la comunidad en general, superando las barreras que limitan el crecimiento de las empresas hoteleras en su promoción turística mediante las redes sociales. Los métodos y técnicas utilizados, como método analítico, deductivo, las técnicas de las encuestas, entrevistas y observación son fundamentales para obtener resultados significativos. |
