Abstract: This research project focuses on the gastronomic study of Jaramijó County and its economic incidences in the year 2022. Tourism and gastronomy generate economic benefits for the local population, but ignorance about the economic incidences of gastronomy is a problem that needs to be addressed, therefore the objective of the research is to analyze the factors responsible for the lack of knowledge of the economic incidences in the gastronomic sector and identify the number of people involved in the gastronomic industry, the establishments that offer gastronomic services and suppliers of raw materials. In this investigation, the methods of analysis and descriptive were used, as well as interviews and surveys techniques that allowed the collection of information. The main results of this study reveal that there is a lack of knowledge about the economic incidences of the gastronomic sector of Jaramijó, both among the population, owners of the establishments and the chamber of tourism. A training plan is proposed to address this problem, with the aim of providing information on economic incidents and the role of the municipality in the regulation of the gastronomic sector. The contributions of this study focus on filling the information gap on the economic incidences in the gastronomic sector in Jaramijó and provide recommendations to improve the economic development of the sector. In addition, the importance of training and collaboration between different entities to promote knowledge and proper regulation of gastronomy in the canton is highlighted.
Description: Este proyecto de investigación se centra en el estudio gastronómico del cantón Jaramijó y sus incidencias económicas en el año 2022. El turismo y la gastronomía generan beneficios económicos para la población local, pero el desconocimiento sobre las incidencias económicas de la gastronomía es un problema que necesita ser abordado, por ello el objetivo de la investigación es analizar los factores responsables del desconocimiento de las incidencias económicas en el sector gastronómico e identificar el número de personas involucradas en la industria gastronómica, los establecimientos que ofrecen servicios gastronómicos y los proveedores de materias primas.
