Abstract: The objective of this research project is to identify the causes why order delivery times are prolonged. For this, it is important to identify the deficiencies in the manufacturing process and the sales procedure carried out in the furniture store. The investigation consists of three phases; In the first phase, all the important information is collected, which bases the investigation. The Deming cycle and each of its stages are described, putting in context its implementation in the manufacturing sector and the importance that it entails. In the second phase, the implementation of the Deming cycle is carried out and through a detailed analysis of the production and sales processes to identify the shortcomings that affect the delivery of customer orders, solutions are proposed to eliminate these causes. In the third phase, results obtained with the implementation of the Deming cycle are presented, it is recommended to adapt this mega trend in the future activities of the company to continue on the path towards total quality.
Description: El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo identificar las causas por las que los tiempos de las entregas de pedidos se prolongan. Para ello es importante identificar las deficiencias del proceso de manufactura y el procedimiento de ventas que se lleva a cabo en la mueblería.
