dc.description.abstract | This tesis describes the proposal for the desing o fan Environmental management system (EMS) basad on ISO 14001:2015 for the CESECCA Laboratory of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, located in the city of Manta, this research was born with the need to improve wasted management and thus minimize its Environmental impact. Consequently, quality laboratories must be willing to demonstrate that they are technically competent and generate reliable and impartial results. The purpose of this study is base don the characterization of waste, the realization of a diagnosis on the current waste management and the elaboration of an environmental management plan that helps to strengthen the weaknesses in the laboratory´s waste management. This thesis is based on the environmental management system cycles as a reference base don the ISO 14001 internacional standard, starting with the following stages: Plan, Do, Check and Act (PHVA). This information will be valid to meet the objectives set out in the work, since the purpose is to carry out a current diagnosis of this waste, and then present a protocolo on the integral management of both liquid and solid waste generated in CESECCA Laboratory. For this purpose, a check list based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard was carried out to determine the degree or percentage of compliance with the standard. The design of the environmental management system opens tha way for the authorities of the Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí and of course the director of CESECCA to include in their daily activities the commitment with the environment to increase their efficiency in technological improvement, training, verification, revisión and constant documentation of processes. | es |
