Abstract

In the context of the Strategic Planning Department of the Port Authority of Manta (APM), the implementation of various digital tools is proposed to enhance the organization's systems and document processes in 2022. These tools will be designed to streamline information management, facilitate collaboration among teams, and ensure efficiency in document handling. One of the key proposed tools is a digital document management system. This system will enable efficient creation, storage, search, and retrieval of documents, reducing reliance on physical documents and streamlining workflows. With this system, employees will be able to quickly access relevant information, securely share documents, and track versions and changes. Additionally, the implementation of an online collaboration platform is suggested, such as a portal or an intranet, to facilitate communication and information exchange among different teams and departments of APM. This platform will allow real-time collaboration, document sharing, commenting, and task assignment, thereby improving efficiency and coordination in the strategic planning process.
